PORCH & PANTRY

LOCATION: Durham, NC

Mike and Evelyn were looking to expand their pantry and laundry area while also creating an outdoor space they could enjoy year-round with their dogs. We collaborated closely to design additions that are both beautiful and highly functional. The project also included rebuilding a rotted deck and pergola, along with a full exterior refresh.The new screened porch features a cozy slate-wrapped fireplace for cooler months, a vaulted tongue-and-groove ceiling, expansive skylights with remote-controlled shades, and custom screen doors with integrated dog doors—creating a space designed for comfort, durability, and everyday living.
